Are you hiking with a large group and do not want to pay a hugely inflated rate for the use of a shuttler’s passenger van/multiple vehicles, or would simply like to have your car waiting for you at the end of your hike? With our vehicle relocation service* you can both hike away from, and toward, your car at the same time! Well, almost at the same time. 😉 If this is something you would like to be able to do you have come to the right place. We have been providing vehicle relocation services to individuals, scout troops, even colleges and universities since 2005 with no complaints and no accidents or citations of any type. A written relocation authorization with signature (not computer printed) from you is required, as is pre-payment. For more details please email us at AppalachianServices@msn.com, click HERE or use the convenient “Contact Us” tab at the top of the page. If emailing from your own email address please include something about “vehicle relocation” in the subject line so your email doesn’t get sent to the “junk mail” box by our security software.
* This service has been suspended for most, if not all, of the 2016 hiking season. We will remove this notice once the relocation service is available again.
I was wondering what you would charge to relocate my vehicle from Fontana Dam to a point approximately 10 days hiking north on the AT. I’m currently trying to figure this location out right now. Let’s just say the end of the Smokies On the AT.
Thank you.
I’m leaving in 3 days so a quick response would be helpful.
I am soooo very sorry to have just now found this (26DEC2014). We have been closed while out of state dealing with a family member’s illness. We just reopened for a few weeks (until 15JAN2015), then plan to open again in late February or 01MAR for the 2015 Hiking Season. Our availability page will be updated to reflect this ASAP. I sincerely hope you had a wonderful hike!! 🙂
Thanks, very useful information.
